Megan Cooley
Megan Cooley is an alumnus of Plano Senior Class of 2019, and is a current freshman
studying Biology at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. In high school, she was a member of
the front ensemble, and served as a section leader her junior and senior year. During
this time, she also assisted with Plano Middle School Drumline. She also took part in
the PanCats, and many ensembles that performed at
Spettacolo.
During high school, Megan took lessons from Jon Lee, and attributes her success to
the teachings of both him and Mr. Michael Hernandez. She attended the Marimba Madness
camp for three years in a row, which completely revolutionized her approach to a
keyboard and assisted her in her music education.
After graduating, Megan enjoys playing piano, country dancing, and training to run
marathons. She plans to eventually go to medical school after receiving her undergraduate
degree. She also plans to travel, and potentially do a study abroad during her
undergraduate degree.
