Pranav Jagada
Pranav Jagada is from Plano, Texas and started his percussion career in 2012 at Schimelpfenig Middle School.
He continued through the Plano Percussion Program at Clark High School and Plano Senior High School,
and he graduated in 2019.
Pranav is currently a freshman at Purdue University where he is enrolled in First-Year Engineering and
plans to study Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. This past year, he played Bass 3 on the Boiler
Beats drumline at Purdue.
He was also recently appointed captain of Purdue Raas, which is Purdue University’s competitive Garba-Raas
dance team. This past season, Purdue Raas competed in St. Louis, Orlando, and Columbus.
Throughout all four years of high school, Pranav was on the bassline and was bassline section leader at
Clark and at Plano, where he participated in the marching band show, drumline show, and bassline ensemble at Spettacolo.
Pranav was a member of the Plano Middle School Drumline both as a middle schooler and as a student staff
member in high school. He was also a member of PanCats,
Samba Batucada,
Toolkit Sonnet, and many more ensembles at Plano,
including the self-arranged ensemble Master of Puppets.
Outside of the Percussion Program, Pranav was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, the math club at Plano Senior, which he
represented as Mr. Math, earning runner-up at the Mr. Plano pageant in 2019.
